Hey guys!
Something has happened to me. The last couple of times when I wanted and had time to get polish on my nails I've only wanted to do pink. Yeah I know, what happened right?! I'm as surprised as you are about this fact and I've come to two conclusions. 1) All this Pink Wednesdays has showed me how many beautiful pink polishes that's actually out there. I don't know why I thought pink polishes to be boring and blend. Huh?! Maybe cause all the pink polishes that were around when I was a teenager were. 2) It's summer-ish here and summers demands happy colours. Pink nails are summer-y. :) For which ever reason I'm happy to have discovered that pink polish can be super pretty and looking awesome, even on me! :)
Today I'll show you a special pink of mine. It's been on my lemmings list since I first saw it and even though it's not rare or anything - yet I might add - I didn't get it up until recently. I can say this is easily my top pink and probably one of my top ten polishes! That's how gorgeous I think it is. :)
Her name is Strawberry Fields. I really really like the name, it feels really happy and satisfied with life. It has a super smooth formula, two or three coats and shines like nothing I know in the sun. Glass fleckles are golden and small and the pink is so warm and super flattering for really pale girls (and boys!) who didn't think they could ever pull off pink.
There you have it! Strawberry Fields from China Glaze is THE most beautiful pink I ever saw. Lovelovelove it!
Hope your day rocked! ;)

Another of these tag thingys! :) I got this from one of my favourite bloggers out there, Kirs over at Glitta Gloves, thank you honey! I know it's some time ago but finally... ;)
A. Age:
I turned 29 this year - no one believes this. :p I feel the same as when I was 23 but I've learned new stuff for every year.
B. Bed size:
It's for two persons. It's one of the best buys I've ever made. I just bought it like two years ago or something like that.
C. Chore you hate:
Cleaning windows. I've done this exactly ONE time in my life and that was when I was moving out. Last time I moved I paid someone to do the cleaning for me.
D. Day:
Saturdays. It's still weekend but it's not over yet.
E. Essential start to your day:
Coffee. And breakfast. I can't meet people and be civil without it.
F. Favourite colour:
I really like blue - the whole scale including the bluest blue and the greenest blue. If I have to choose only one colour. And blue goes on anything, from polish to clothes. But my two second favourites are green and purple.
G. Gold or Silver:
I'm a silver gal. I sometimes think I can do gold but I'm not comfortable in gold colours.
H. Height:
I'm small. ;) In cm 162,5 or 5'4 if you prefer that way of measuring.
I. Instruments:
I played piano at one point. But I didn't wanna learn sheet music and my teacher didn't want to teach me how to play by ear. Since I went to a Waldorf school from 4th class up until 9th I got to try lots of other instruments too. Nothing stuck and I prefer to sing.
J. Job title:
Student. I will be a paralegal when I'm done next year. :)
K. Kids:
Only four legged ones.
L. Live:
In Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Moved here in the spring of 2002.
M. Mom’s name:
Margareta. My dad shortened it to Greta. I still call her mom though. :)
N. Nicknames:
Mostly Millie. My sister calls me Millie-Vanillie. I've heard Milly and Mills too. My best friend calls me 50-cent. Yup.
O. Overnight hospital stays:
I once stayed in a hospital for a week, so about 6 nights or so. I was 10 years and didn't get to keep my food. :(
P. Pet peeve:
People on the tube with backpacks - almost knocking me over. Poor grammar in your native language.
Q. Quote from a movie:
"Come what may. I will love you, until my dying day." - Moulin Rouge
R. Right or left handed:
I am what they call cross dominant. But I write with my left hand, can write with my right too just not as fast. I do lots of stuff with the right one, like using a pair of scissors.
S. Siblings:
A younger brother 23 and an older sister 30. My brother and I have the same parents, my sister has another father but my biological father adopted her and we grew up together. I have two half siblings on my fathers side but I hardly count them in cause we never grew up together and they are 15-20 years older than us.
T. Time you wake up:
It really depends. When my school start 9 I get up around 7. When I don't have a time where I need to be somewhere I like to sleep until 8:30-9.
U. Underwear:
I do own some, yes! :) Very practical...
V. Vegetables you dislike:
I don't think there is one. However I don't like pickled things. Yuck! I'm a vegetarian, I've been since 10 years of age.
W. What makes you run late:
1) If I over sleep. That happens very seldom and only if I'm a) sick or b) haven't slept enough in a week. 2) When the bus that I get on in the morning comes and goes three minutes before it's supposed to.
X. X-Rays you’ve had:
One time I got an x-ray of my arm. I don't think I've had any others.
Y. Yummy food you make:
Cannellonis with spinache and feta cheese. Or lasagne with cottage cheese. I love cheese!
Z. Zoo:
I don't think all Zoo's are good for animals but I hope they are. I love animals a lot and I don't want them to get hurt.
Oooh... tagging, tagging, tagging... I'd like very much for the following to do their ABC's...

Kreativ Blogger Award
Hello cuties!
Some time ago I got tagged by the lovely Whitney over at Elemental Styles for this award. Thanks so much sweetie! :) Since I was on a boat yeasterday my world is still kind of spinning today. What better than to get this award on? Right? :) And also, I had some free hours this morning and I didn't need to look for a summer job since I GOT IT! :D Good hours, all summer and really good pay too.
Give 10 facts about yourself and give the award to 10 other bloggers with less than 300 followers.
1. I'm in love (and have been insanely obesessed) with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the world and stories in it.
2. I have four cats. Two of them I had when I met my bf. The other two we got together. Elliot 7 years, Spike 6 years, Buffy and Rupert "Rupie" Giles 6 months.
3. I live together with my bf. It's the first time I live together with a person I'm in love with. I never thought I could. We're closing in on 2½ years now. He really is my best friend.
4. I have serious control needs. But I'm constantly working on them. In the beginning of me living with my bf I wanted everything done my way so I always checked up on the way he did the dishes or made the food. Silly really.
5. I would like to live in a house in the country side but not too far from a bigger city. I'm from the country side from the beginning and I kinda miss it sometimes.
6. I get easily restless. I do have a heard time winding down too.
7. I wish I could get a dog. It's something I really want to do someday.
8. If I didn't live in Sweden I would probably live in San Francisco. Love it there! :) And also, I have family just outside of SF.
9. This fall I'm gonna go practice on my future job as a paralegal. :) I'm gonna be at the District Court of my hometown. I'm super excited and super nervous.
10. I don't know how to keep a flower of a plant alive. I just don't. They all die.
Since Blogger is doing I-don't-know-what I can't see whom of the bloggers have less than 300 followers. Which means ALL of you who haven't done this and wanna do it - you're it! :) Go nuts and please send me the link so I can read about your 10 facts. :) I love getting to know you!
Now I need to get my head in my books again. See ya soon!

Life isn't always pink.
Dear all readers,
I'm not missing, I'm just very very busy. So busy in fact all I can do right now are my Pink Wednesdays. The last couple of weeks have been aweful in many aspects. And also sad in others. I've been super busy with school, hardly doing anything else than attending classes, going to the gym and then home to eat and sleep. Last friday me and bf went to his parents home and also went to see his grandpa who's been very ill. We spent some hours with him and he was really weak. He died early morning after. So we're very glad we could come and say goodbye. Often in situations like this we seldom get to say our goodbyes. I know this meant alot to my bf but to me too. His grandpa was a very nice man who was very well liked.
I just needed to tell everyone but now I need to show you the nails. If I keep talking about this and thinking I won't be able to study today I think...
So this is Viva La Diva nr 130. I don't like naming polish with numbers. Other than that, I do like Viva La Diva's polish and other make up too.
This one is a pink neon. It is kind of hard to tell, my camera doesn't really capture it the way a neon shows in reality but I believe this is a warmer neon. I've just started to like neons and this one looks really nice againt my skin.
Application was two coats only. No dragging. Got some slight tip wear but I think that depends on my top coat as I did this as a mani. I forgot to wrap the nails 'cause I was in a hurry.
I hope you're all better than I am for the time being. And I wish you a good pink day and a good rest of the week.

Fuck Off and Dye!
Hey friends and followers!
I've had this wonderful pink laquer for a while now and I had a plan to show it off in a special way and I will! But I will probably do it somewhat different from what I first thought. As it is now, I don't really have the time. Everything in my spare time gets cut off for a while now. I'm just really very busy with school and finding a job for the summer amongst a few other things that are taking lots of time. You'll have to forgive me for not being able to post as frequently as I would wish.
Enough about that and on to this beauty of mine. I made the pictures a bit blurry cause of a casualty with my long finger some time back. It is healing though.
Can you say "woooow!!!" ? It's matte, it's a vibrant dark rosed kind of pink and it has some kind of matte silver flecks in it (click on the closeup! Do it!). You just can't go wrong with this one! And the name along, I love it! Fuck Off and Dye! I would have bought it for the name along. I'm very happy and pleased with this - it is also the first Manglaze I am wearing.
I got opacity with one coat and it dries super fast to this awesome of awesomest matte polish. Manglaze, I am truly in love with your polishes. Please make us some more. :)
Have a happy pink Wednesday you guys!

I'm addicted...
to Silver Shatter. Yes. But since today is Wednesday and y'all now what's happening on Wednesdays... we wear pink! :) But it doesn't mean you only have to wear pink, right? Right! :) So for today you'll get H&M Coral from their Spring Nails and topping that off with the beautiful Silver Shatter. Tell me when you've had enough of it and maybe I'll listen. ;)
Aaaah! Gorgeous! Since I showed Coral before I won't tell you how much I love it - again. Or the Silver Shatter. I'll just let you bask in them. ;)
